Our Vision
To be a safe and transformative space for healing where people can show up as they are, speak their truth, and move toward liberation. We envision a world where healing isn’t just private—it’s powerful, shared, and sustainable.
Why “The Purple Elephant”?
The name is symbolic and intentional.
Purple represents wisdom, healing, and empowerment.
Elephants represent memory, community, and quiet strength.
And the “elephant in the room”? That’s what we’re not afraid to name—your pain, your past, your diagnosis, your trauma, your truth.
This is a space where nothing is too heavy, too complicated, or too taboo. We face it together, with care.
More About The Purple Elephant Wellness Collective
Creating space for healing, voice, and visibility.
At The Purple Elephant Wellness Collective, we do more than provide therapy—we create space for whole-person healing. We believe that therapy should feel human, empowering, and culturally grounded. Whether you’re sitting across from us in a session, walking alongside us in nature, or joining a circle of community support, we’re committed to holding space for your truth.
Whether you’re ready to start therapy, collaborate on a wellness event, or just curious about who we are—we’d love to connect.
The Purple Elephant Wellness Collective
Healing that feels human.
Healing that makes room.
Healing that lasts.
Our Founder
“ It all starts with a conversation”
Courtney Everett, LCSW
Courtney (she/her) is a licensed therapist, speaker, and community advocate with a passion for helping others live freely and fully. As a Black woman navigating chronic illness (Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia), she brings a deeply personal understanding of resilience, rest, and renewal. Her clinical style blends warmth, honesty, and realness—infused with creativity, cultural humility, and embodied care.
Courtney’s approach is especially supportive for those who:
Are living with invisible or chronic illnesses
Hold multiple marginalized identities
Feel overwhelmed by life transitions or grief
Want therapy that feels like a conversation, not a checklist
She is the voice behind Conversations with Court, the heart of this collective, and a gentle disruptor of the status quo in wellness spaces.
